The Brief
Suji Kim runs a Korean glueless lash lift studio in Buena Park — a Korean-American beauty corridor saturated with lash shops. Her differentiator is PermPoint, a proprietary LED-cured glue technique she wanted to make her signature. The previous template Shopify site didn't communicate any of that. It looked like every other lash studio.
The Approach
A custom Shopify build leading with the PermPoint story: a hero that explains what makes glueless + LED different from traditional extensions, service tiers structured around how the client actually books (returning clients on the express path, new clients walked through the full add-on flow), bilingual EN/KR for the Korean-American clientele, and FAQ + booking integration that matches the studio's Acuity scheduler so the booking flow feels native. Booking page imagery was reworked to match the site so the brand reads as one continuous experience instead of a Frankenstein of a template + a third-party scheduler.
The Result
A Shopify storefront that reads as a personal-brand site, not a template — to the point where Suji's friends now spontaneously compliment it as "fully custom" the moment they see it. The structured service flow has cut the back-and-forth around add-ons (clients now self-select before booking). Word-of-mouth referrals are landing on a site that actually closes them.
